🚨 Motorbike Misuse on Kingsgrove Estate – Action Being Taken 🚨

We’ve recently received reports of motorbikes riding on footpaths to avoid the bus-only entrance on the Kingsgrove estate in Wantage.
This is dangerous, illegal, and puts pedestrians – including families and children – at risk.

👮 We are actively monitoring the area and taking enforcement action.
Repeat offenders are being issued with Section 59 warnings.
❓ What is a Section 59?
Under the Police Reform Act 2002:
➡️ If you're caught using a vehicle in a careless, inconsiderate, or anti-social manner, or somewhere you shouldn’t be (like a footpath)...
➡️ You may receive a formal warning.
➡️ If you’re caught again within 12 months, we can seize your vehicle – even if you're not misusing it at the time.
